Say hello to Sam! He's a very affectionate dog. He wants to be right beside you, and will follow his humans around. His favourite spot is next to his foster on the couch. Sam can be timid in new situations, but is quick to adjust and show his happy go lucky personality! You know he is comfortable when he starts to prance on his leash next to you. Sam enjoys playing fetch, and will happily retrieve the ball, throw it up in the air and play with it for a few minutes before returning it to you for another round of the game.

Sam is not a high energy dog, he is content with a walk or a play/training session in a day. He is mastering his loose leash walking, with lots of praise and treats he is getting better every day. He is fully kennel and house trained. Sam is still young and is still learning all his manners. He is a very smart boy, and picks up tricks quickly. He knows over 15 tricks and verbal cues, including sit, down, stay, leave it, and come. Sam is continuing to build his confidence and needs a home that will allow him time to adjust to this large of a change, but he will make a loving and loyal companion to the right family!
